Located on the outskirts of Birmingham, this 2-acre site took 15 months to construct, with the hard and soft landscape undertaken during the last two months. The area contained no original features so all the planting had to be mature from the start. This site contains a secure garden for dementia sufferers (See Dementia/Special Need Gardens for pictures and perspectives), garden club area, patios, raised beds, etc.
The overall cost for this site was £100k for soft landscape and £75k for hard landscape. This garden can be accessed all the way round on a level footpath, and hedges carefully located draw residents round the garden to provide varying views.
